Examination Qualifying
- Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examinations from a recognized board.
Year of Passing the Qualifying Examination
- Candidates who have passed 10+2 or equivalent examinations in 2022, and 2023 or are appearing for it in 2024 will only be eligible for JEE Main 2024.

How to Apply for JEE Main 2024
Step 1: Gather Documents

- Go to the official JEE Main website: jeemain.nta.nic.in.
- Now in the Candidate Activity section, click on “JEE Main (Session 1/2): Registration”.
- You will be redirected to a new page where you will complete instructions for filling out the application form.
- Click submit.
- You’ll get a unique registration ID and password.
Step 3: Fill the Application Form
- Log in with your registration ID and password.
- Complete the application form with your personal details, educational qualifications, and other required information.
- Choose exam medium and centers.
- NOTE: Details are pre-filled and unchangeable once submitted
Step 4: Upload Documents
- Now upload the scanned image of the applicant’s photograph, signature, and category certificate as per the prescribed format and size.
- Click “Next” upon completion.
Step 5: Payment
- Pay the application fee online through the available payment methods. Keep the payment receipt as proof.
Step 6: Review and Submit
- Double-check all the information you’ve entered. Make corrections if needed. Once everything is accurate.
- After payment, accept the declaration and click “submit.”
Print Confirmation: After successful submission, download and print your confirmation page. This is your proof of application.
